SynMap syntenic dotplot of tomato (x-axis) v. potato (y-axis) with Ks colors for syntenic gene pairs. Results may be regenerated: http://genomevolution.org/r/4tpn
Ks histogram of syntenic gene pairs identified between potato and tomato. Results may be regenerated: http://genomevolution.org/r/4tpn

Purple in both the dotplot and histogram are orthologous gene pairs. Green from their shared most recent polyploidy event, red from a more ancient polyploidy event. For the most recent polyploidy event (green), there is a strong signal for a duplication (tetraploidy) with a few regions show a triplication (hexaploidy; chromosome 7 potato).
