CoGe can send and retrieve data from the iPlant Data Store. To use this feature, you must be logged into CoGe with your iPlant credentials. CoGe has permission to read from a special directory in your data store named "coge_data". If you put files into that directory, CoGe can see them and read them. This is useful for staging data when loading a genome, annotation, or an experiment.
By using the iPlant Data Store to stage data, CoGe can retrieve data very quickly.
