Region1

Ambo-grape-ambo (http://genomevolution.org/r/4s1n). One ambo region (top) has a weak syntenic signal to grape which consists of 3 collinear genes. However, there is a density of putative homologous gene pairs which may infer synteny.
Ambo-grape-ambo (http://genomevolution.org/r/4s1o). Expanded view of the above region. This gives a feeling for general "noise" from non-syntenic gene-pair matches. The three collinear genes definitely have the "feeling" of being real.

Region2

Ambo-grape-ambo (http://genomevolution.org/r/4s1u). Interesting. . . while genes are definitely not in order in Ambo, coverage/fractionation to grape is enticing.
