There are many ways to share data in CoGe, but the basic things you need are:

How to share data through the User Profile page

Sharing is fun and easy!
  1. Select the check-box next to data item(s) your wish to share from the list under "My Stuff"
  2. Click on the share button Share-icon.png at the top of the list
  3. Search and select the person or user-group with whom you wish to share (see right).
  4. Click "Add" to add that person or user-group
  5. Click "Done" when you are finished.
  6. If the person you are seeking is not there, tell them to get a CoGe account

How to share through a Notebook:

  1. Make sure you are logged into CoGe
  2. Make a notebook
    1. Go to your profile page: http://genomevolution.org/CoGe/User.pl
    2. Press the red "Create" button located on the left of the page
      1. This will popup a dialog box that will let you specify the info to create a notebook
      2. Press the red "Create Notebook" to create the notebook
    3. Find your notebook in your list of stuff
