CoGe's user-data management system allows researchers to get a CoGe user account. With a user account, researchers can:
- Add private data (genomes, experiments, annotations)
- Share private data with other users
- Create notebooks
- Save their analyses in CoGe automatically to their history page
- Create groups of users to which data can be shared in mass.
