Overview

Notebooks allow you to group together various data in CoGe, annotate them, and then use them in various tools.

What the buttons do

• Edit Info: To edit the name and description of the notebook
• Make public: Press this button will make the notebook visible to everyone including anonymous users
• Delete: Remove this notebook
• Add items: Add data in CoGe to this notebook:
  • Genomes
  • Experiments
  • Features
  • Notebooks
• Add Annotation: Add text and images that describe the notebook (aka metadata about the notebook)
  • Annotation: Free text
  • Link: a URL to something (e.g. a CoGE anlaysis, wiki page)
  • Type: What kind of annotation is this (Default: note)
  • Image: Upload an image
