The latest version of CoGe (version 4), included a massive rewrite to the backend of the system. This created a centralized configuration system for a CoGe installation instead of a lot of hard-coding of where various tools and resources were located. The end goal of this write was to make deploying new instances of CoGe (say, one specific to toads) easy to do on the same server.
